Team Motto | "Hard work beats talent, when talent doesn`t work hard" |
History | Speed Kills was created in October of 2010, by founder and head coach James Thorne, Jr.(Jt#24) as an offseason alternative for his Summer baseball team`s players. After a few months of practice our team`s first season was in the Winter of 2011 in the CVFA. When the season ended we were CHAMPIONS! Since then the team has evolved to also include athletes from schools in the Tri Cities and Chesterfield County area. We now form one of the more talented teams in Central VA! Our goal is a state title and we won`t stop until we get it! |
Last weeks highlights! | The defense was at it again in week 2, putting another shutout on the board! The offense was clicking again also, as 3 different people scored touchdowns. Montrel led the way scoring twice. Once on a beautiful throw by Duke and another on a 68 yard kickoff return! Next up, Shatterpoint. |
