Played them a couple summers ago. If they have the same D-line, well I hope you have very solid o-line or QB that can make plays on the run. |

Truth is if they run in the FFX league they`re in for a real shock. That league doesn`t even come close to playing the same rules as us and the competition is weak as hell compared to the rest of the nova leagues. 1 and done. |

www.fxafootball.com - You should read their rules, it`s a guaranteed laugh riot. Especially the part about how their pass rushers aren`t allowed to bull rush or how they can`t use a silent snap count. These guys are screwed.
I consider NoVa leagues the IFFL and Fairfax Flag Football. Those leagues bad teams go over and play in FXA and run those leagues. |

Not arguing if they have athletes or not. I`m just saying it`s going to be a serious handicap for them coming in not playing the same rules. One or two minor differences, sure. But these rules are going to hurt them, especially at the A level.
And like I said earlier, their best teams struggle with middle of the pack teams from the IFFL and Fairfax Weeknights. |

You cant really say their rules are a joke, its just what they are used to. man in my town we played 7 on 7 with no contact, blockers had to have hands behind there back and could not use them, and thats just the beginning. lol, teams dont make the rules, the city does. |

Here`s their Men`s rules. Notice they don`t have kickoffs and they can`t field a punt until after it`s hit the ground. There`s no bump and run/jamming coverage allowed. Seriously, I`m just scratching the surface with these co-ed rules for their Men`s game. Read em, it`s a joke. |

Dec 07, 2011 3:04 PM | subject: re: Showtime FFX
some of your leagues play 80yrd fields and other leagues play down field blocking. Why don`t we have down field blocking? Because instead of having 70 teams in states, we would have 12. |
@downfield blocking
Dec 07, 2011 3:17 PM | subject: re: Showtime FFX
we dont have this bc most of the players have jobs and cant afford to get seriously hurt with a blind side crackback. Im all for agression within our rules |

Team Hood should win this game hands down, if they are coming from a league where they couldn`t use a silent count. |

703 jobs pay well. They also pay my insurance incase something stupid happens.
but most of the guys who play in the contact leagues have jobs, families, other lives. They choose to play because its fun and theyre not out there to hurt people. Its a different game. |

Dec 08, 2011 1:05 PM | subject: re: Showtime FFX
ya on the insurance, but i for one work in an environment where i meet my clients regularly, in the 703 and dont want broken leg, busted nose etc to put me in a tough spot |
