10:03 AM | For those of you that don`t know. "Nationals" is not really a national tournament. It`s more like a northeast regional tournament with teams from VA, MD, PA, WV, and NY. The problem is that the top teams from those states don`t always come to the tourney. Lately, "nationals" has been nothing more than a "B" level tournament for each state except VA. That`s why the VA teams do so well. |

most team cant spend $4G+on plane ticket so what is the point of making it like that where being one of the best from your state is not enuf if you dont have that cash. other nationals is just all star teams of who can pay to fly and those from only 4 or 5 citys so what is the point? no way to do a real nationals with all the states so best option make it so teams can drive. va teams do so good cuz we have so many the top ones bound to be better then one from states with only 2 or 3 league but there is some teams from other states good enuf to play in our states if you look va dont always win nationals but like you say depend on who show from the other states. |

The reason VA does well at Nationals is that the VA leagues are very organized with a lot of competition. Then you get the top teams from each VA league that have to qualify through the VA state tournament to get to Nationals. Some of these other states just have to win their 10 team leagues.
And call it whatever you want, Nationals is the pinnacle of our league. |

Va is the only state in this national that has a year to get there teams together every other state holds there states in November so they only have at most 2weeks to decide if they are gonna participate |
