10:13 PM | Hey all, I am hosting the CapCityClassic tournament for all CVFA and non-CVFA teams to be held August 27-28th. $200 registration fee if paid by august 11th, 250 until august 25th. States rules with CVFA addendum.
Heres how it will work.
Day 1. random matchups, everyone plays 2 games.
That night; party/pig roast at either Gus` or Baileys, free for team players, cash bar.
If you win 1 game you move on to sunday. Win 2, you get a 1st round bye sunday. Win 0 you go home.
Day 2, single elimination.
If you received a paid states bid from the CVFA, you may use the "paid" part to play here.
Winner gets a free CVFA fall season, or in the case of an out of town team, $500 cash.
tournament is limited to 16 teams. A and B divisions (if demand will fill)
Trophies for winners, runners up and MVP.

ok, I got some updates today. Really cool stuff.
for saturday: you can get a bag lunch delivered to the field for you for $5. You must sign up in advance for this at check in.
if you dont do that, we will have a hot lunch at baileys the tourney HQ) for players and fans for $5 per person.
That night, we will have an all you can eat buffet for $10 at Baileys.
Oh, and I almost forgot. I got the UFC fight that night free for all players and fans. Yea. Free for all.
$3.50 22oz drafts all weekend.

river city has a better wr core, kicker, and offense in general. dmob has a better qb, more physical, and defense in general. dont know what you have seen to think either of these teams would punish the other but looks like a matchup to me. rc would win by a fg.

What? RC has a better O than DMOB? O I forgot, that was RC playing the Gunz in the Semi`s, right? Didn`t SO FOCUS deal RC one this past STATES? It`s amazing how someone can try to compare a Nationally ranked DMOB squad to RC. Granted, RC is a good team and has gotten some respect in their league but don`t match up to DMOB. Wasn`t this their 1st time playing A in the STATE tourny? Holla at me when RC make Nationals, and then we`ll have something to talk about. RC got great talent, but the National squads like DMOB, GUNZ, AND Firm got alot of wisdom on their side as well! But that`s just my observation. |

dmob in last years semis and dmob today are two totally different teams. i just think it would be a good game for both teams not a PUNISHMENT in the favor dmob. maybe they will meet this weekend and then our convo would be null and void. |
