Feb 25, 2011 08:12 AM | Dispite everyone`s negative comments about it only being one day and the officials I just wanted to say nice job throwing together the tournament. It takes alot of work behind the scenes to get teams, official, and fields. Nobody else has stepped up to the plate to put together a tournament of that quality in the past year, so again thanks. Looking forward to the Summer Classic too. |

Thanks Brian for the comments. I am looking fwd to the Summer Classic as well and I hope this one will bring more teams. It will be two days, because of the heat in the Beach. |

lots a fun thought it could have been more organized we had a 9:00 game didnt play again till 6:00 and would have had to play back to back 4 games straight i would have rather had a set amount of teams and a bracket with times seat teams according to state seating |

Daniel, I have been to states before and not every game at states have always favor a team on when their next game is. I have play at states where we have played at 12 and not again until 5 and than 8 at night. It was a set amount of teams, and we were going to use 4 fields, but the referees from Norfolk, decided not to come and that left us with enough refs to cover 3 fields and not 4. There was a bracket with set times for seated teams. States doesn`t seed you know lower than four and no higher than one. So, what are you talking about seeding the way states do. I think I did a pretty good job and there is room for improving, which I will take into consideration for the July tournament. |
