The IFFL is way above average for B teams state wide? |

played hard and made all the right plays at the right time. Not neccesarily the most talented, but they came together when it counted.
Agree that Fairfax and reston have some of the toughest competition throughout |

The real question he is trying to ask is "How did a real B team win B?" |
No the real question to ask is

Why do IFFL teams play down in states? How many years has Pens been playing A in their own league? |

Pens are a true B team, albeit they are getting better every season. They haven`t had much success against top A teams in Fairfax, but they don`t run from them either. At some point that experience pays off. |

For real, Pens are a true B team. Just like Truth, Stone Cold, Outcast and Banditos. Although I`d wager almost all of those teams are on their way to being A teams. |
Hmmmm

So I don`t understand the initial complaint? Is it "How can a B team win B states?" Everyone`s right, look at the stats, Pens have only been playing at A level competition in Fairfax for about a year and even then they`ve placed very low in comparison to true A teams there.
I`d say they`re on the cusp. Just good enough to be the best in B but no where near where they need to be to compete with Gunz, Firm, and the other big A teams out there.
You know what they say, A in Fairfax means B in the rest of Virginia! |

We have some good teams and we always have teams recruiting and changing players and divisions like women change underwear. We have the players to give Gunz, Firm a good run , but to be honest - those two teams are always on top because they keep guys together and know each other well. Those two always give other teams something to shoot for.But don`t dis our A teams- they are that good when they keep the same team together for longer than a season. We have so many teams - it is hard to get that chemistry. No disrespect to our southern brothers , but when you have 50- 70 teams a year - it is hard to get a dynasty. Much respect to Firm and Gunz. |
Why don`t we wait

and make judgement next year when they play A. Its not like they came to B and dominated. No one expected to see them on Sunday. And they battled through the weather and a bunch of close games to come out on top.
We`d be asking different questions if they or someone else came here and blew through the b teams to dominate b states.
seems to me that competition wise, 90% of teams in A or B played where they were suppose to play.
someone could make that arguement that alley katz lost to gunz by 7 in the reg season, that they should`ve play A, because gunz beat their 1st two opponents by 16 and 14. And beat Firm by 14. Does that make Alley katz better then those three teams? |
