I find it pretty interesting that all of the best players in the tournament seemed to be playing in the B division.
I can understand if you are a team that plays for exercise or just to have fun and drink beer but when you are talking about the best players in the tournament I think anyone that has the balls to play in the A league should be ranked ahead of any of these guys named in this thread.
Personally, I would rather be one and done in the A league then win the B league "championship". What exactly does winning the B-league prove anyway? If you win the B league you are the best team in the state except for everyone that played in A.
Its like winning the NIT. The only difference is that you have to make a conscious choice to play there. Your team is saying there is no way we can beat the best teams in the A league so we would rather play against teams we might have a chance against. Its a cowardly decision and yet for some reason the B is always 3 times the size of the A.
I am sure these players are good but they had good tournaments against lesser competition. If you want to be on an all anything team play against the Gunz or D-mob or Firm and test your skills against the best. Otherwise you are just a middle of the pack player on a middle of the pack team that is afraid to play with the big boys.

It`s says best players for each division and each position. Obviously it only b players voting because they only played b teams. And as far as playing b being a coward decision I disagree. Some of those a teams were b teams last yer that had to move up but really weren`t any better than mediocre b teams. Besides its the coaches decision what division to play in. I`m sure plenty oh the players in b league want to play a but get over ruled. I mean really, Jerome Mathis was playing b. He played in the NFL I`m sure he isn`t such a coward he wants to avoid a league competition lol. |

1. The only team that has to move up to A is the team that wins the B league title,any other B league team that moves up does so by choice and I respect that
2. I am not disrespecting individual players that want to compete against the best, most guys break in on a team then the good players that want to compete at the highest level move on to a better one or build a team that can compete at that level.
3. If your coach is holding you back you should find a better coach that will let you compete at the highest level
4. I did read it and I saw 6 posts that didn`t mention a single player that played for the title so I felt compelled to say what I said
5. I am sure that a player with NFL talent would rather be playing against better competition if it was his choice, frankly if you have a former NFL player on your roster and you are playing B league that makes you a bigger coward, you are trying to bring in ringers to beat up second tier competition.
I just tend to think more teams should be willing to challenge themselves and that the A tournament should be three times bigger then the B instead of vice versa.So if you are on a good B league team move up next year, if you are a good player and your team won`t move up then find one that will. Then when you compete against the best you can start calling yourself the best. |

Dynasty wr #3 and their Qb #1. Definately playmakers saw those guys goin for up+ yard scores multiple times. Also pirates #1. And triple threat Qb #2 both of those guys can get loose |

Everyone can`t play in the A league. Also it`s not cowardly to play against "teams" of equal skill level. Notice I put team in (") because I`m sure there are players on the B teams that may have the skill and desire to play in the A, but their "team" as a whole is not as skilled. Furthermore, playing in the A when you no damn well you will be one and done isn`t what I call a smart or brave decision. Everything about that sounds dumb to me. Sometimes pride gets in the way of smart decision making. I say props to everyone in the whole tournament(A and B) for even showing up and leaving it all on the field, that in itself shows a lot of courage. |

Looking at the rankings they are better than every team except for 1 from your league. If your team didn`t show this weekend you ain`t got **** to say about the ones who did. Bring your team next time and prove you are better or shut up and sit down. |

Just want to give props to that church team from Fairfax (TJ), took photos of all the teams and watched them play a couple of rounds and they had a good attitude when both winning and losing and props to the Richmond and VA Beach teams that showed them respect too because of pretty decent play on the field. Everybody have a good holidays and see you next year. |

If you actually looked at the website you will see sc won the c chip their first season. Played in open second season and lost in the chip and played in open their third season and won the B chip. Their own league hate on them so it makes sense here too. Good showing in states sc. Not all 703 teams hate y`all. Y`all r some good peoples and good comps. |

Oh yeah they are definately good at it. The two of them lived in our backfield and no matter how many times they got sacks they still celebrated. I can understand the 1st time celebrating but after you have gotten back there couple times I just dont see the point in yelling and screaming and dancing and telling everyone about it but thats just me, anyway good game Dynasty |

Dynasty talked. Every other team talked. Our team talked. It was all fun though. T-Roy i think was the big white guy on the line. He definetly talked a lot. But he also played well. We yellwed right back at him. once the game was over, they shook hands just like everyone else.
I don`t know if Dynasty talked more then some of the other teams we played, but they definetly had some guys who liked to chat. I think if you make the final 4, your probably allowed to talk.

Exactly. Dynasty had a great team. It was a ton of fun playing against them. take away 1 or 2 dropped passes or broken up plays and they could`ve been playing for the championship.
The talking started early and went until the final play of the game. From both teams. And it was all fun. Dynasty might have talked alot, but they never said anything that crossed the line. Thats how you know, theyre just tryin to have some fun and play ball.

banditos was a decent team...easily The most organized one we player all weekend...but to say we shouldn`t have won is a lil bit much...u could say that about a lot of teams in a lot of games this weekend...heck we lost to the champagne by two on the last play...am I saying they shouldnt have won....no I`m saying we should have played better to give ourselves a better chance to win...that`s really all u can and should say whem u do lose...no matter what league or division u look at...from flag to hs to college and even NFL...anybody can beat anybody given the right circumstances...so back to the topic at hand yeah we did have a dogfight in game two wit banditos and are a better team now because we`be been gut checked...honestly if banditos chose to play b next year im gonna go ahead and say now that they will be top 8 if they bring back that same team...they`re turf |

We`ll definitely be back. Man, we needed maybe two more minutes to bring the ball back down at you guys and try and win it. That running clock (and your running qb) killed us! Had a lot of fun playing you guys. It never bothers me when teams talk, especially if they back it up. I think we left that tournament after coming back from down 11 on Penny Lane Pub and fighting hard against Dynasty a much improved team. Dynasty had opprotunities early to stretch a lead, we fought our way back. the game went back and forth with both teams making a couple of crucial stops. Dynasty missed an xtra point midway through the game.
We scored with about 30-45 seconds left, if I remember correctly, to take the lead by 8. Next kick off - they returned it to our 20 approximately. I think they scored the touchdown with under 15 seconds left. On the two point conversion, the qb had to make a decision of either running it in or throwing in. he got out of the pocket, bought some time, and made a pass that was almost caught, but broken up.
Thats how close dynasty and pens played each other. JG is right when saying it was a close game coming down to the last play. If one or two plays go a different way, that game ends completely differently. |
