absolutely they are. are you all serious they not? just because a team plays A and gets a win against another mediocre team, then gets trounced by a gunz or dmob, doesn`t make them better because they played A! yes it gets more respect but this ain`t a popularity contest. they played B and performed well esp m&g. they don`t get top 4 because A teams earned that. but from 5-10 they should be there. |

agree with topper and disagree with hell no. just because a team plays A doesnt mean they better because they got whooped or beat a nobody then got whooped. and agree with another post I read 2. there 5 A teams that no doubt would ve won B. Theres bout 3 to 5 others that MAY have made it 2 sunday in B but only bout 2 of dem MAY have won. sum of you jus need 2 get off yr high horse! |

If were not in the top ten then how did we come in t=5th in nationals with 9 players i might add. Last time i checked only top 4 from the state get a bid. |

play A and you B teams can make the list this year, its simple check the box for the A tourny on your registration form, and stop being chicken ****!!!! I rank the teams who go for it in the A tourny, higher than the teams hanging out in B for a trophy just the way I see it and stop talkin about how many teams in A would win the B tourny, lets talk about a whole bunch of teams in B going One and Done in A |

so your saying when boise st wins a "consolation" bowl, they not top 10? u guys kill me. there 6 teams in A that deserve top 6.after that PB and MG belong. in my book you aint ranking most JUST BECAUSE they play A over these 2 teams. |

it doesnt matter what your argument is because i have one too. the top 5 teams from A, they aint on here because they the best and proved to be the best. the ones thinking PB and MG dont belong, are the same teams that... #1 have been by one of them or #2 know they cant beat either one of them or #3 all of the above. |

I have never played either team...my point is that teams like IDA-B, R&B, Triple Crown, Blindside, Ruckus, AM FAM, I POWER, Westwood, Collision...etc. lost to the top 4 or 5 teams. That is what happened to both of these teams and that is why they played B (at least why M&G played B). So how can you say that those teams are not as good or better? I know that I can`t. Put it another way, it is like saying that the last two years (07` and 08`) M&G wasn`t any good or was average because they lost first round, but all of a sudden, with a similar team, they are top 10. - I dont get it. |

what I don`t understand; is why if you did so well @ states with 9 players why would you pick the b tournament. I saw your 1st 2 games that 1st one was a team I`ve never seen before, & they will be good. The 2nd game you just used ue experience, which I feel like don`t sell urself short if u can rep va in nationals no way should u be in a b tournament the next week |

The NCAA does have a B tourney. Its called the NIT Ha Ha If you wanta b ranked with the big boys play and win n the A league otherwise stay a B player. By the way I ve seen some of the B teams these guys play to get to the finals they r not good! Some of them may consider playing something else! |

amfam and r&b have LOTS of years playing B and couldnt win it. not even close actually. so if B so weak like u sayin. how u gonna put these 2 over PB and MG when they have went further in A and B than amfam and r&b? PB would beat both and so would mg. Pb has beat amfam and wud crush rb. mg hasnt playd amfam in 3 years but beat them and u can go to harrisonburg site to see what maroon has done to rb. u make no argument son. |

totally agree. the chances of us winning A are slim to none and a hell of a lot closer to none lol. and yes, we did have fun this yr, isnt that what this is about? so these rankings REALLY dont mean anything the way theyre set up. if there was a year long top 20 made up of points, something fair and more towards benefits of A teams, it would add some spice to this thing i think. For example for final 2009 ranknings, in your reg season, you get .25 for every win. If it was against a team that played in the 2008 A states, you add .75 to that and if they played in B, you add .25 to it. If it was against a A final four team you add another 1.00 to it and .50 for a B final four team. Winning reg season, add .50 and another .50 for playoffs. Every A state win is .50 and .25 for B. Make A final four, add another 1.00 and .50 for B final four. A champ gets 5.00, B gets 2.50. A runner up gets 3.00 and B runner up gets 1.25. Additional for Nationals as well. No summer tourneys, just VFFA sanctioned leagues or tourneys. Yes, I have too much time but I`m a federa employee so keep that on the DL please lol. But i do think something like this would be neat to see on a weekly basis. |

then come play in the CVFA, we do what we call the BGS, it takes points for/points against per game then weights it in correspondence with the other team`s ranking from last week and gives points for quality wins, deducts for losses to lesser teams and gives points for close losses to top ranked teams. It doesnt mean anything in the grand scheme of things, but its cool to see and discuss |

who gives a flyin` eff `bout rankings except those tryin` to stroke their own egos? You see the Big Dogs on here much talkin` `bout rankings? Every player on this board prolly has a pretty good idea of who ranks where just by matchup history and tourney results. Squabbling over who`s 9th or 10th or A or B may make for a bored board discussion but that`s about it. And percentage points for wins and losses over a season....seriously? C`mon federal worker guy, how bout you use those creative cranium resources to help us climb out of this massive federal debt or anything a touch more constructive than a rankings system for falg football. Our govt is in more trouble than I suspected. |
