I think whoever is responsible for collecting the flags needs to be more diligent in collecting the flags after the games. I don`t know who`s responsibility it is, but sometimes the refs and the players are just trying to get out of there. I don`t think that alot of people intentionally take flag belts, but I do think that after games the flags are not collected and people forget to drop them at the fields. Also, there may be 20 flag belts buried under all of that snow, so clearing the fields would help too. I don`t think that wearing your own flags is a good idea because many teams "doctor" their flags to gain a competitive advantage. Those extra sticky super glued flags! Ya`ll know what team I`m talking about. So just be sure to collect them after each game and don`t leave them unattended during games. The flags that are not used should be put away. |

agree with bsteezy. i saw team with own flags in parking lot putting them on. 1 guy had another pull on his flag, then actually used 2 hands to get the flag out and thjey started laughing. they didnt see us sitting in car next to them. |

should be more responsible, since the belts are only used for those tournaments and are provided to help keep the teams from cheating each other by screwing with the sockets and lengths. You`d think we`d understand that and support the "program" better. If they "go away", the looser, of course, will be us - not the tournaments! |

them flags sucked at nationals anyway. teams should supply own flags. on a TD the ref comes up and pulls both your flags off after the play like they do in college flag. ref can also pull a players flags after any play he feels is "suspicious". plus that will give refs something to do besides just standing there drawing a check daydreaming. |

I agree with the guy who said whoever collects the flags should be more responsible. I saw like 20 kids with flags playing not to blame the kids. The refs throw them down and leave them there and in the area that we were in we can`t blame people for forgetting because the fields were all over the place. |
