08:50 AM | First of all, let me say that this question is purely for fun and it won`t ever happen. I just want to see what guys think on this topic because I`m sitting here bored and need something to read. I was talking to a fellow flag football player and he said that if Smyre was their QB they would be as good as the GUNZ because Smy is the best QB. I have played with some good and bad QB`s and Smy is definitely one of the best QB`s that I`ve ever had. But the question is could Smy go to a team like FU, AM Fam, Sharks, Firm, D-Mob and make them champs! Also, could the GUNZ win `ships with QB`s like Jamar, Troy, Chauncey, or the Sharks QB. Again, let me say I love Smy and would never want another QB, so don`t get it twisted. This is just for the sake of argument. | Sharks

I will touch this one. As i agree the Gunz QB is the best there no dougting that. If he went to Firm or Sharks i think he would still do very well as those team have the athletes in place. DMOB has the athletes but Smyre like to use his line alot and i dont know if i have ever seen Dmob use a line. My list goes like this Smyre #1 Jamar #2 Sharks QB and Chauncey from Dmob at #3. you cant lose with any of them. | Smyre

Good ? steezy. I would like to say this all of those guys that was mentioned have stronger arms than me, but can the make there teammates better on a consisitent basis. And my answer is no. I dont feel like i could go to another team and win instantly do to the fact that these guys make me better, however i would get to the top eventually cuz im a winner. And on that note I will be having a clinic for flag Qb`s firs ten to register get half off. lol | T2 Sharks

I believe that Smyre is def one of the best QBs that I`ve played against but I strongly believe that there team as a whole collectively make each other better. Different QBs fit well with different schemes. Just to say believe Smyre uses all the tools he has to his advantage, and the Gunz are loaded with talent and athletes. Think, they had one of those lineman also playing middle of defense as safety. Love our lineman but don`t think we`d put any of them @ safety. | Rookie

One of these days, someone`s gunna figger out ya gotta guard the lineman. Like, T2 sez, the guard plays friggie Safety! But, yeah the whole team has no weaknesses and they make the big plays when needed. DMob runz spread so he wouldnt do well there. Firm dont need him. He`d help any other team but he`s right about you got to have the good playas around ya or you aint getting the YACs! | Sharks QB

I believe Smyre has obviously deserved the right to be named the #1 QB. From playing all levels of football it starts with the O-line. Gunz have a very athletic O-line with great footwork. These guys are big athletes, which provides the additional time to go down the field plus effectively release. I certainly wouldn`t trade any of my players, but we were playing with an O-line missing 2 out of 3 starters. Props to the guys who played both weekends because it wears on you. I just wish we had some depth when it came to NATS and STATES at the line position. Not to mention, I lost a dimension of my game when I pulled my hamstring at the end of the 3rd game Saturday at States and wasn`t worth a damn running the ball Sunday. You always have to be at 100% when your playing on Sunday at NATS or STATES. If I never play again, I just wanted to say thanks to all of my former teammates and opponents because I couldn`t of done near as well without them. CONGRATS GUNZ! | BSteezy

All you guys make very valid points. The only reason I brought up this topic is because a guy that I was talking to yesterday said that if they had Smy, then they could win `ships like the Gunz. I was explaining to him that while the QB is the most important position in football, you still need team chemistry and playmakers all over the field. I will use the Gunz team as an example. We all agree we have the best QB, but look at what else we have. You can never have too many top notch COMPETITORS, guys who hate to lose and will do anything to win. The Gunz are loaded with these guys. We don`t have anyone who just plays for fun. This is huge. Also playmakers, you have to have 4-5 on the field at all times. Look at our line. Len- played QB in high school, DB in college. He ate his way into an OL and MLB in flag (lol). He is gonna catch everything in sight and make a few people miss his flag. On D people always underestimate his talent and range, but he makes BIG plays! KC- High School All State Running back. He ran for 2000 yds his senior year, played in college. He`s our physical presence and can still run and catch. Devon- In high school was All metro Richmond receiver. Played DB in college. Physical presence on the OL, tough, smart glue hands. He`s versitile enough to play anywhere on the field. Receivers-Lee Lee, Lil D, Boo, Chris S.. All fast sure handed reliable targets and all know where to be at the right time. That knowledge of where to be and when cannot be underestimated. Chris is fast, strong, can throw, catch. He`s also the best kicker in the state. Look at a few of our other playmakers- Chris B. on D- he`ll get a pick or break up a pass, or get a sack on three consecutive plays. He`s a tough guy who loves to compete. V- smart, physical and will always be in the right spot. Floyd- as a rusher he`s one of the best and you can always count on him. T Lig- is the VET, he still has some left, Tall D- gives people fits with his length and tenacity. Jay- plays great whenever wherever, as a rusher, DB, or LB. Coach Ike- class act and makes plays. I just want all of you guys to know that I love playing with you guys and I can wait until next December so we can do it again! | Len #4 life

Appreciate the love B.Still, I believe you are 100% correct when you say we are ALL Big time Competitors and hate losing. I remember sitting down with some of the Gunz talking about that famous quote "Its not whether you win or lose, but how you played the Game" we all agreed whoever said that was a Loser. There is no Team out there that is harder on us than we are on each other. We talk more trash to each other than another team can even talk to us. What we strive for on the field is impossible but we make each other believe its obtainable, so if we even come close to reaching some our expectation at the end of the day we still will be winners. In other words, Set the Bar high and if you fall short you still should come out on top. It take a special type person to play with us, not as far as on the field talent but mentally.Oh, i also agree by far and the numbers don`t lie we have the Best QB PERIOD. I don`t know if we could win without him, or if he could win without us. I do know, I DON`T want to find out!!! | LEN Gunz #4 Life
