I agree 100 percent. This was poor planning. We have one of the best kicker in states and we could not use him on 3 occassions yesterday when it matters. I really could have made a difference in the Elite twice we were in FG range and had to go for it on fourth down, because there were no FG`s. Bob, I hope this never happen again in STATES. |

This same thing happened last year to us in Fairfax but we mned up and played. Last time I checked the team that beat you played on the same field and they happened to out score you. |

I agree, its the STATE tournament and we can`t get goal posts? Some teams don`t even practice conversions, and some teams brought along kickers just for conversions & FG`s. I dont think its an unreasonable request at this level. Awful |

rc played every game at that field with posts and they also kicked a field goal in m&g game. and if there wouldnt have been posts, rc wouldve had to go for conversions as well and may or may not converted. |

note- river city is not complaining about there being goal post. we actually kicked two field goals in the ship and without having the ability to do so, who knows if we could have converted on 4th and goal. its a part of the game that we like to take advantage of.
that being said, i havent been on the this side of a game winning field goal...and it sucks!

You are right we did have some games that did not have goal posts last year, but we also had a field of over 80 teams. As for the lights, well, that happens and we still had some issues with them this past season. If we had the same number of teams as this past weekend all the games would have been on turf, but the real problem is that 703 didn`t represent and travel at full strength. |

Consider it! When the tournament is in Richmond, teams North & South can come play a game and if they lose, drive back home and NOT have to stay overnight. But, because of the sheer size of these tournys (8 to 10 fields), officials have to be "imported". If insuficient rooms booked by teams, then no comp rooms for officials, then fee must rise to cover officials rooms! Simple! |
