Dec 11, 2008 10:33 AM | As many of you love to flash your area codes instead of team names welcome to Northern VA wheer we play 100 yard fields. Gas prices are higher and the Fairfax County police love to pull people over. Hope none of you drink and drive Friday nights- hahaha. It`d be a shame if some 804, 757, 6969 teams don`t field there full teams come early Saturday morning.
Anyways let`s talk football. B is a much more balanced bracket than the A. In the A you have some very dominant teams that will show there true colors this year but in the B there are many good teams from all around the State. I wouldn`t be so excited about getting out of the first round teams from the South. There are a lot of talented B teams.
My predictions are you will see at least 3 NOVA teams in the semi`s. I just won`t tell you who those might be considering we`d (NOVA) love to hand it to you illiterate Southern teams.
See all you idiots bright and early Saturday morning. |
Get some

I play for a southern "illiterate" team and I have a masters degree and a well paying professional career; as do many members of my team. Granted, there are some real ignorant fools that post on here "804 this" and "757 that," but don’t lump everyone that lives south of the beltway into illiteracy; that makes you look ignorant. |
knock it off
Dec 11, 2008 11:08 AM | subject: re: B thoughts
99% of teams and players up here in NoVA are polite and respectful to other teams and players.
Most of us are from other parts of the state and country originally anyhow.
The ones who make posts like this(if he really IS from NVA) also make posts on league boards saying the same stuff about people from certain areas in NVA.
Just ignore these fools. NVA teams and players welcome everyone from around the state and we hope you all have a good time up here. |
Two thoughts
Dec 11, 2008 11:10 AM | subject: re: B thoughts
First, Larry`s was in on Sunday last year. Secondly, I`m from the `540` originally and now play in NOVA and I also have a Master`s a well paying professional career. Running someone down because they`re from the `south` is ignorant.

I am from Fairfax, but now live well south of the beltway, and I will admit that people are much nicer and friendlier in NOVA than in other areas of the state
but no way would I ever go back because of one thing--the traffic |
And another thought
Dec 11, 2008 11:11 AM | subject: re: B thoughts
While are field are 100 yards, they`re being marked off at 80 yards for the tourney. |
