Whats up with all the complaining?? Teams have to get better! You are tripping! This man has over 90 team in his tourney 30 in A and you talking about you wonder why no one wants to play? What are you looking at. Bob would not be fair putting teams together on purpose! you are stupid! You are saying put all the good teams together so someone else can win?? Just dumb! Why not let teams play and win against the best, whats wrong with that?? The brackets are balanced in my opinion! Bob keep doing what you do, it is clear that you cannot make everyone happy! Its not because he wants those teams to get in the final 4, its because they are good! If you dont like it, do one of a few things; get better, go to B, form your own league or tourney or just quit! Some advice...if you play just drive up, dont get a room sleep in your car at the field, loose your first game and then go watch the B tourney so you can size up your competition for next year! Lastly, professional leagues dont pair up its best teams! Usually the better teams are seeded higher or get buys! I dont understand your complaint! Look at the brackets they are balanced and each team has to win its game to move on! Again, the same teams are in the final for is because they are good! Even if you put all the good teams together only the best would emerge! Thats why we play the game, there are upsets and close calls, its called competition. The teams that play be recognize that teams in A play on a higher level, when they get better then they move to A and compete. All those teams that are playing B are playing B for a reason if they were A caliber they would play A and would want to play the best teams! There are teams in A that have gotten better! A B champion will be crowned and they will have to move up to play A. Most teams in A qualifed, won their leauge or was a runner up! Stop complaining and go out and play, do your best and leave it on the field! |

I thought the Firm and the Gunz were suppose to be in the same bracket?? Blindside and the Canes are.. That was the top 4 from last year.. Bob said he tries to put the top 4 in the same bracket to come out with a different winner... |

u cant read j he said he dont want the same championship game as the year b4 so like when gunz beat firm last year same bracket so they could meet in semi final same as this year firm canes same bracket so be a diffrent team this year.
but looking at the brackets 2 me it set for if they all keep winning 2 settle it on the feild who is the best 804 or 757 |

I think he should have put the Gunz and Firm in different brackets (which he did) BUT don`t make D-Mob play the Gunz before the ship, OR the Cane play the Firm before the ship. He should have put it so that Gunz and Canes would most likely play for the semi`s and Firm D-Mod play for the semi`s. The way he has it now, the Canes would have to play the Firm which they do during the regular season and the same thing with the Gunz and D-Mob.
But, I tip my hat to Bob, he has a lot of teams in this tourney. It should be exciting! And those four teams I`m talking about will NOT have an easy game the whole way through. I mean look at the Canes/Blindside matchup SECOND ROUND. That was last years semi`s. Someone`s going home early!

To: true true butt, you were right on it Gunz-Canes & Firm/D-Mob in the same bracket.Here me out EVEREYBODY has to play the game but I am a former player and now an administrator in the flag football world to get respect you earn it by winning the BIG GAMES in a tourney all games are big. My team didn`t do that so I know now what it takes to win, so gentlemen if you call your team a team play like one and I guarantee you will come out a better TEAM!!! Good Luck to all!! Only the FINAL TWO ("A") from last year are put in the same bracket (half) but different quarters. That`s so we will NOT have a repeat at the top, but both teams can still make it to semis and thus, the Nationals. You may review previous brackets to see this is so. It is not applicable to "B", as the Final Eight must move up to "A" the following year (for 1 year).
As far as National performance, that has no bearing on seeds. The VFFA is made up of Member Leagues and it is those individual league standings that are utilized. For good or for bad, we have so many GREAT teams in Virginia, there is NO WAY we can keep them away from each other! Hope this helps. - RCJ |
