I just came home from Iraq
I played for my team in the fall of 2007. and played with them in the states last year.
now I can`t play in the states bc I didn`t play with them in 2008.
wow
ur welcome for my service country men.
but all this is sum bull.
guess everybody will be asking for id drivers license and social security numbers at the states

Your grief should be with your coach for not putting you on roster. Not many teams send the full 22 so if he knew even a week ago, he couldve put u on roster. Welcome home though. |

Coach couldnt have known that he couldnt add his homie before the states started, Teams have been doing that for a long time. as long as you dont play on two teams at the same time in tourney, why should it matter.Teams break up after the season and players go some where else for more TEAM aspect or simply to get better-maybe even join a team thats missing something they provide- pass rush or coverage. Now they cant play- I dont know if yall know but rosters will be scrutinized you better have ur i.d. if you play- Alot of teams are goin to ask for proof before the game starts that ur on the roster

Still ur coachs fault.just because you didn`t play in 07 doesn`t mean you can`t.depends on your league if they have rule for minimum games played.if not then you`re in good standing in your league and couldve played.of course I`m not the final word but term wise that what it says! |

Thank you for your service soldier and I`m glad to see that you came home safe. The real issue at hand is that I don`t think your coach wanted you to play. I don`t know your ability to play but trust me this would not have been an issue on any other team competing. That`s an excuse you give to someone who you don`t want to play. My advice to you is to find another team to play for next season. |

Look bro it`s ur coaches fault. The rule is that your name, number, and sig. had to be on the tournament roster. Not every league makes their team`s rosters available from the fall season. If your coach would`ve had you sign the tournament`s roster b4 he submitted it you would`ve been good.
That being said as a coach I have no idea who is legit from the other team or not. Unless tournament staff are going to do ID checks based the submitted rosters then I don`t see how any other coach would know if you r legit or not either. Now if your team plays a team from your own league then they might challenge. |

We further understand that forfeits will result if players were added and that the VFFA Board of Directors may determine to take further action towards such Team and League regarding their participation in future State Tournaments. Sign ______________ (Team Manager/Coach) Sign ______________ League Commissioner."
I guess the key part would be this:

like i said its not the coachhes falsifying the document if he signs my name and i havnt played anythis season. and if you dont know i will tell you- better bring your id. bc the first thing my coach is goin to do is say your not on the roster- i would challenge every player on a another team before the game starts bc this roster stuff is some bull- you play on one roster and one roster only in the states- for real if you do it that way there wouldnt be thta much compkaining

The Word around the Camp Fire is that any team using illegal players will cost that league a suspension from the VFFA for 1 year. Not just that team but that whole league. The possibility of I.D.`S being checked is very real. If you didn`t play with that team and your name is not on the roster you cant play or that will be a forfeit. Also, you are not allowed to just jump on any team that needs a player. What happened in past tournaments will not happen this year, without any punishment. |

TO YRP: This is our state tournament. There are other tournaments during the year where you can stack rosters. The state tournament is suppose to be the best team from different leagues playing against each other. It was never meant to be All-Star teams vs All-Star teams. So, just bring the guys you have been playing football with during the season and let the best team win. Not All-Star team |
