The Host HQ for the USFFA National Tournament is: the McClure City Center Hotel ("downtown where all the action is"); 304 232-0300. Rates: Double = $72, King = $82.
Reminder: the USFFA has a $100 surcharge for any team NOT staying at the host (HQ) hotel. You will be asked to show evidence of same. If you elect to stay elsewhere, make sure you`ll be saving at least that much - `cause that`s what you`ll have to remit to the USFFA prior to playing! Good Luck and will see you in Wheeling. - RCJ |

FYI. The USFFA is required to provide lodging for visiting officials and meeting space for HQ, Team Meetings and Officials Meetings. To date, they have not found a single hotel/motel that will do this for free! However, the motel WILL provide these items IF they book a sufficient number of rooms during that time period. If they don`t then the USFFA will be charged accordingly. The National Registration Fee to Teams is $160 - pretty cheap in comparison to other "lesser" tournaments. An alternative, of course, would be to increase the Team Fee to $260 or $300 to make sure those amenities are covered. Then teams could stay where ever they wish. Bottom line is - this is your tournament and you will have to pay for it one way or the other! Hope this helps. - RCJ |

O.k just raise it up, people will just go to other tourny`s like the gunz did. Nobody needs to take this stuff going up to freezing cold states and got to stay at crappy hotels. The teams run this not you! If there was no teams there would be no tourny. If there was no you and crappy hotels we still could have a tourny FYI!!!! I hope that helps everybody in the states |

No that doesn`t help everyone in the States. Speak for yourself! Just stay at the Host hotel or pay the additional cost and stay where you want. |

"Considered one of Wheeling’s prominent landmarks, The McClure House Hotel has been the lodging choice of US presidents, West Virginia governors, Civil War generals, entertainers and other notable figures since 1852."

Everyone thinks they can do it better then go and make your own nationals and see how far you get. This national has been around since before you were born so its got more cred.Thats why all these other groups are begging our teams to come to there tournament and line there pockets. Fool. |
