11:22 AM | The Official State Tournament Roster has ALWAYS contained the Certification and Waiver Statement presented below. Players, Team Coaches, and League Commissioners ALL MUST SIGN AND CERTIFY that this is a legitimate team eligible to compete. Please review and act accordingly. Thanks. - RCJ
"By signing the Roster on the reverse. I verify that I have been a member in good standing throughout the regular season with the Team and League herein named. I further verify that I have sufficiently trained for this sport and will not hold the Team, the League, the VFFA, the VFFA officers, sponsors, or officials, the host parks & frecreation department, or any other tournament related person or organization responsible for injuries incurred by me during the VIRGINIA FLAG FOOTBALL ASSOCIATION Championship Tournament.
We, the undersigned, responsible for the Team throughout the regular season, certify that the Team Roster on the reverse is true and correct and that no additional players have been added to this team in order to enhance it`s success during the State Tournament. We further understand that forfeits will result if players were added and that the VFFA Board of Directors may determine to take further action towards such Team and League regarding their participation in future State Tournaments. Is there any written rules that say a player can not quit a team and join another that is going to give them more playing time. I had two players that had quit another team the week before play for my team a whole game and the refs never said anything untill we won the game. Is there any writtin rules on this? |

What is the rules on rosters for teams this season? Does a player have to play with a team for a certain number of games in their respective leagues? Or can any play join any team right before the tournament and play with them?
I heard the players have to play at least 3 regular season games with a team to be eligable to play with that team in states. Is this true??? Please respond quickly!!! |

When it boils down to it only 3 teams have a legit chance of winning it this year. Gunz, Dmob, & Firm. You can add as many guys as you want to a team but team chemistry will beat a fully loaded team every time. That`s why these 3 elite team has been able to compete consistently on the highest level. I value your concern on the last post but if their on the roster then its all good. Play hard and leave it on the field. |

I`m only basing it off the past few years in their respective league and state results. The sharks are definitely an elite team in NOVA. I think the states will be a delight to see this year. Just hope we`re able to field more (A) league teams this year. |

The Sharks are very overrated! Has the Sharks beaten any strong teams outside of Fairfax. Maroon and Gold are overrated as well. I don`t see either team making it to the elite 8 in the A Bracket this Tournament |

Firm beat m&g 17-14 last year. I would say it was firms closest game of the tournament. How do u figure there overrated??? They lead the whole game until the last 40 yard field goal by the firm. the last time gunz played the sharks they won true but its not the same team now. new QB and added some players and they play all those teams they played triple 3 time in a month so they know each other very well. We dont even play in NOVA league, not sure how all this got started. We`ve only played Sharks a few times and never beat them (few heartbreakers though). They arent the ones on here wanting the attention and neither are we. And no matter what, road to A title goes thru DMOB, Gunz, and Firm. Youre not gonna win it without beating at LEAST 1 of them. All I ask is have the hosp room ready early please. |

Yep! you guys are just hatin` You will see The Sharks win the title this year. We have home field advantage, plus the Fairfax and Northern Virginia Leagues are 10 times better then any of those weak richmond and beach teams. They can stack and pick up players from other leagues like they always do. But the best true team in the state are The Sharks and will show it in less then 3 weeks. Time to get your mind right. |

def not us i can promise u we got respect for all a teams. From the bottom all the way to the top. And 2 be honest with you its hard to tell how we will do this year. depends on how far jmu makes it in the div 2 playoffs. Half our team will not be able to make it if they make it to the semis. so we shall see. either way we show up and lay it on the table. Much respect to all the a teams. glad we can be apart of it |

As I recall in the states last year the Gunz and Firm game was the best of the tournament. You guys have to do your research and in the championship the Firm blew that garbage (The Hurricanes) out.The Gunz and Firm was the championship game last year. |

Lmao. Funny when you lose a couple of games how bad your team has become. To the Canes fan, yea you guys got us a FEW times this year(be humble with it) but that`s football. And the only other teams to beat us outside of the beach has been Dmob and Gunz. The last I heard they were 2 of the top teams nationally. Guess we really do suck! they qualify as a Spring A team but take a B slot for states. either No Va A teams are soft and feel that their A teams don`t stack up against the rest of the state or they are trying to stack the B bracket. i don`t think outcast has ever played at the B level in the IFFL.

outcast should be in b they will get crushed in A and this must be your first time or somthing not to know that it dont matter what your hometown league look like some league dont even have a,b,c,d and A at states not the same thing as A in your league so worry about your own team quit cryin about everyone else. |
