11:24 AM | The MCFFU and USSSA will be hosting its 3rd Annual Eastern National Championships in VA Beach at Princess Anne Park on June 28-29. Multiple styles will be offered during this event and the Semi-Contact will be one of our featured styles.
We currently host National Championships in Biloxi (MS), Las Vegas (NV), Toledo (OH), Salt Lake City (UT) and of course VA Beach (VA).
Our goal is to create a national circuit for the semi-contact style of play in the likes of our 8-Man eligible and 9-Man Full Contact divisions.
State such as California, Texas, Idaho, New Mexico, Arizona, Mississippi, Tennessee to name a few all run this style of flag football. This along with the what the East Coast offers in this style (VA, NY, PA, etc) can create possibly the largest flag circuit of any style.
The entire MCFFU/USSSA program is backed by NIKE and Impact Sports and includes Discounted NIKE gear and team uniforms, team fundraiser programs for Union members to help cover team entry fees (leagues/tournaments) as well as travel expenses...
The VA BEACH NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS will be played with VFFA rules. Eventually we would like to add this style to the World Championships series inviting the top 16 teams from across the country to come compete against other states!
The entry fee for the VA BEACH NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS is $325 and there will divisions for A and B. Prizes will be based on total team participation, with cash being provided to the A division only.
