an idiot. Theres a differnce between playing in the snow and playing when there is 3 inches on the field already. I have a good source that the fields are shut down this weekend. Maybe Tom/Bob can work something out but i do know the parks and rec policy |

Fairfax County will CLOSE THE FIELDS B/C of the snow that`s currently ON THE FIELDS...if the fields are closed TODAY, FRIDAY DEC 13, THEY`LL BE CLOSED THIS WEEKEND AS WELL (PER FAIRFAX COUNTY POLICY)
Last I checked, these fields are currently CLOSED as of 1:45 pm...ITS NOT LOOKING GOOD FELLAS... |

They will close the turf fields with standing water/snow and ice of the fields. They have done it before. With that being said Bob/Tom probably got a rain or shine commitment for parks and rec for this weekend |

Slash is spot on, it`s not about having snow on the field, it`s about the water and it`s impact on how it makes the surface b/c if we were on grass, no point to play BC it`ll be cancelled but with turf and the exit paths which lead the water out, it`s still a sign to error on caution but it`s all up to the county; no commish can override fairfax county |

And see that`s the messed up part about this process b/c honestly the commish needs to be calling the parks and rec admin office ASAP to find out b/c they close at 6 and if they don`t find out and they DO INDEED call off the event, then ppl get screwed over; sorry bro but that`s just the way it is up here
