4:43 PM | 1. Firm - showing they still got what it takes. even though they took the L in the finals their road was tougher and you could tell in the final game attrition was setting in.
2. Triple Crown - the boys are back. strong showing in their return.
3. Primetime - very disappointing output in the national tourney, but they lost to one of the few teams that could beat them. i`m sure they will bounce back this weekend.
4. TMT - 2013 National Champs. They are ONLY this low because their route to the championship was altered. the nighthawks dropping out were supposed to be a very strong team. the OH1 team didn`t show up. while most teams started at 9/10, these guys didn`t play their 1st game till 300 and that was vs a weak team. None of this is their fault. The took care of business like they were supposed to. This is a very dangerous team, and they only need a few more creditable wins to let the state know they are for real.
5. Gameface - squeeked out the win vs 7pt spread with a field goal block in closing minutes. this team finds ways to win games and at the end of the day that`s all that matters.
6. W.E.W.E. - not a good showing at states. they punished a weak team then got off to a very bad start vs the firm. best thing they did was make a valiant comeback on a game they were thought to be out of.
7. 7pt Spread - same team doing the same things. they always seem to find ways to lose games they should win.
8. AmFam - despite jumping out to an early lead vs 7pt they were 1 and done.
*I fully expect sunday A bracket participation will come from 4 of these 8 teams. |

How are the NATIONAL CHAMPS not the favorites? The National Tournament was just two days ago. Doesn`t make much sense to me. Not to mention, they beat The Firm in the championship, which beat Triple Crown in the semis. And both teams are ahead of them, not one, but both! |

U fool anybody could have won nationals and then get to the state level and not even make it to the quarters... it`s all competition in va, the top 4 or even 8 teams can all interchange at the state level we will see this weekend |

How is Bark Bowl Harder? At the end of the day you have the same teams competing and making it to the finals, Sure there might be more teams in states, but the outcome is always Firm, Primetime,Gameface, Gunz( if they play) and the same ordinary teams. NO ONE ELSE WINS |

@this is a joke. TMT is hot, but this is what i took into consideration in putting them at #4. They beat a gameface team (at the end) that had been playing since 10am and just off a tough game vs 7pt. TMT didn`t play anybody unitl 3pm. Additional, they beat a firm team that was losing people as the game went on and was on their 4th game of the day 3 of which were hard games. None of this is TMT`s fault as they handled business like they are supposed to do. Had the OH1 team and the Nightwawks team showed up, TMT`s path would have been better. Think about it, they beat an awful Inwood team and was automatically in the semi`s. That Inwood team, is really "showtime" in FCFFL that made the B league playoffs. Not hate, just reality. Reality is they beat a B league team, a team they`ve face like 10 times (and this is the first time they`ve beaten them), and a team losing people after a long day.
I don`t want to take anything from TMT, because I def think they are now one of the favorites to win it all this weekend, but I`d like to see them win a few more games against some of the states better competition. |

"dislike" some of the players on TMT (just being honest) HOWEVER they are due the respect that they deserve. It hurts to say BUT this isn`t a "body of work" where we look across multiple seasons, THIS season is what matters and should be the only factor. TMT plays high level competition in the 703, they then win Nationals BEATING "THE Firm" the defending champs…Give them the nod at the #1 spot if its wrong then so be it, we`ll know in less then 6 days. |

VA states is harder, mainly because your path to win it all comes with no less than 3 or 4 competitive games. Either you`re like the gunz and firm and just beating teams that you face easily or you`re in a dog fight every game. With Nationals, it`s all about the draw. Look at how the brackets were. TMT`s bracket only had 3 teams that showed up. Really it was 2 it they hadn`t rearranged it because the Nighthawks informed early enough that they weren`t showing up. R&B and TMT were the only 2 teams from that original bracket to show up. That`s just the reality.
On the flip side, look at GameFace bracket, everybody showed up. DC2, WV2, VA4, MD1, VA2. Had 7pt knocked off game face, they would have been on their 4th game vs TMT essentially being on there 1st (after the sleepwalk game vs Inwood). It`s something that I`m sure the National committee will look to address in the future.

FYI TMT had only 9 players for the championship game. they didnt have their original linemen and a lot of players due from injuries, so don`t give me that BS that other teams didn`t have their players.You have no say, they`re the National champs and you`re just a message board troll. |

First off, This is "Messageboard Troll`s" opinion. Who really cares where he thinks anyone is going to end up. Its a good conversation starter, but it shouldn`t all be about TMT.
Second. Just bc you win a tournament, doesn`t mean everyone thinks your going to be the favorite. For instance, I could understand having Gameface over TMT, because they have played 3 times and GF won twice. But TMT won the more important game, IMO.
I`m shocked by TC beating Primetime, let alone by the score that it was. I think Primetime will come back much more focused this week.
I also think the final 4 will come from these 8 teams, with an exception for Gunz, too many flip flop rumors on if they are playing or not.
But really its football. Any given Sunday, someone else can win. Especially when the competition is as competitive as it is. |

Your top 4 are right on, and honestly could be in any order. TMT, PT, TC, and firm are the 4 to beat this weekend.
Your bottom 4, not so good. Gameface is fine. 7pt is fine. AmFam is sketchy and blew their load at states last year. Once again you rank wewe too high based on bark bowl and decent game against firm. They will not have the Triple Threat players. Not that wewe aintt good but definitely less without the other players.
Dont be surprised to see boogie monsters make a legit run. Or obviously if gunz enter, they become a sunday team. With right draw team hood could even make noise or somebody like m&g. |

Look at the 2012 and 2011 nationals brakets you see firm played one game to get to semis against you could guess a weak team then beat someone in the ship who had to get through a more tough draw and play more games. according to you firm ships are not legit. So I got Troll saying firm and tmt ships not legit next he will say gunz not legit. |

Its an opinion bruh. All about the draw, maybe more than ever this year.
Boogie can score points but give up lots. Would be a tuff draw for firm or TMT that like to run and gun. PT or a GF probably locks them down.
And dont know what m&g bringing but their last A tourn was a final four.

I never said TMT championship wasn`t legit. In fact I said it is. They are the champs and rightfully so. I just said I have them ranked 4th in the state. That`s my opinion based on everything going in to states. I actually have not said 1 thing bad about TMT.
Whoever made the point about gunz and firm nationals not legit is silly. There is a reason the gunz stopped playing in nats. Likewise there is also a reason that the 3 time national champs firm only have 1 state title. Va state tourney is a harder tourney and that`s just the reality.
It`s like you`re getting mad because I said TMT was 4th. I spoke about 7 other teams also |

You are correct, the Virginia State tournament is a much better tournament than Nationals. I just don`t think the other states in the USFFA take this nearly as serious as we do. In fact, most of the states listed on the USFFA website don`t even send teams to the tournament. |

I have no problem with the rank ... this weekend will be here soon enough and we will see how we stack up. Bunch of tough teams out here and we are one of them, somebody gotta lose and hope it aint us. Everybody has ballers, good luck to all unless you play us!!
SN: Some of us on TMT are 2-0 VS the Firm (this year) so if they #1 then we have a good shot. Football is a game of nutrition if you cant stay healthy NEXT MAN UP ... just like the Nats. We both where short handed big time. We went from 22 players down to about 12. |
