3:48 PM | This one is going to be easy. We all know the Firm is a perennial top dog in the state. They have won their league for a 50th consecutive time. They are the current 3 time National Champs and have arguably the best QB in the state of VA running the show. Any loss (except to Primetime) and it’ll be considered an upset. That being said, let’s get to the good stuff. The rise of Team Hood and the fall of Da Unit. Hood showed up this fall and I’m sure they are feeling like, it’s time to make that run. They came up short last year to a very good Bodysnathers team but they haven’t done anything but build on that and seemingly become better. Da Unit was once considered a top team in the state. They got a bad draw last year and faced Primetime opening round and almost came away with the win, but since then it has been a steady stream downhill. For the most part in the most recent years 757, has been pretty terrible in the A brackets at states. Firm has held it down, but other than that it’s been consistent disappointment. They have done much better in the B brackets. It’s quite possible that only the firm will represent the 757 in A, but I’m sure Da Unit will go A also out of pride. Team breakdown
The Firm – Arguably best QB in the state running the show and damn it sometimes that’s all it takes. With 2 straight losses to Primetime, these guys aren’t the overall favorite, but if they lose to anybody else, it will be considered an upset. Outlook – I think these guy make it to the championship game. They’ve taken enough losses in 2013 to realize they aren’t doing anything but getting older. Look for them to refocus and make it to the last game.
Team Hood – I can admit I don’t know much about this team, but all signs point to another state contender. They ran the table in the house league this fall. Beat firm in the regular season and lost to firm in overtime for the championship by 1 (I’m told kicking was the issue). I can’t do anything but give them respect. That being said, I wouldn’t be surprised or mad if these guys went into the B bracket. Despite their success, it still boils down to beating other B teams and 1-1 vs Firm. The B bracket will be slightly better over competition than they are used to, but that A bracket is like playing Firm every week. Outlook – If they go A I give them 1 win then they can be home in time to catch Jameis Winston hoist the Heisman. If they go B, I def think they make it to Sunday.
Da Unit – What a disappointment. They show up to the Bark Bowl in the jump out van late then get sent home immediately. Then they don’t even make the playoffs in their home league. What is going on here fellas? Did they break up? Injuries? This was once considered at top 5 team in the state. My sources say they will have it no other way but to play A, but reality is they probably need to go B and regroup. Outlook – If they go A, 1 and done. If they go B, I’m thinking they will be a part of another teams upset special. Only get the van for 1 day fellas, you can have it back by 4pm Saturday.
Honorable Mention: Pirates, Bankheadz, Jayhawks, Diesal and Tigers will hopefully all show up. I’ll assume they all will play B, and I expect at least 2 of them to make some noise in B.

Overall Outlook - Firm will once again hold it down for the 757 in the A, and I expect a 757 team to be in the B championship.

i like what Hood has done too, but i think depending on Draw they win at least 2. Playing Firm like they did proves them dudes belong and can run with anyoen in A. Hell they might get hot enough to make it to sudday and contend for A ship |

Hood has played very well all year and if they go A along with a good draw (not seeing primetime or firm) on day 1, they can make it to sunday. But it will not be easy!! |

more than likely teams won`t meet in round 1 from the same league but it`s possible you can meet them in round 2. |
