4:37 PM | These guys don’t know if they want to just play football or argue. Now instead of having 1 league with teams being competitive against each other, they have 2 leagues, 1 with 5 teams the other with 7. Word out the 540 is that some guys were fed up with the way the league was being ran so they decided to start their own league. 5 teams, with a 4 game season, I don’t think they’re off to a good start. All that being said we have 3.5 teams to talk about out of this region. This area has been known to not be scared of the competition; most of the team’s play where they belong (save M&G a few times). The only problem is they haven’t really produced anything out of the A bracket outside of M&G.
Let’s take a look at what they plan to bring to states:
M&G – If you look at their championship photo and judge a book by it’s cover, you’d say 1 and done, but I don’t think anyone believes M&G will be bringing that team to states. Dot and all the old faithful will pull it together for a weekend and bring it together. They can make a deep run on veteran play alone, but their success is solely going to depend on the draw. If they cant avoid a heavyweight matchup early, look for these guys to at least be playing in the game (quarterfinals) to make it to Sunday. If all the old heads show up, you’re not trying to see this team early on Saturday because they will send you packing. Synopsis – I don’t see them beating any heavyweights but I don’t see them getting upset either.
W.E.W.E – This is Dynasty 2.0. This team has dangerous stars but below mediocre role players. They will go as far as the big guns take them. Synopsis – Round 2 exit
Triple Threat – Last years B Champs look to come to A and show they ready. They went undefeated in the 4 game season in the newly created Rockingham County League but loss to WEWE by 1 in the championship. They will go as far as they’re qb takes them. He’s fast, he can make the throws, but tends to make a lot of mistakes that ultimate decide the game. Synopsis – They will lose to any other team that is a true A bracket team.
Honorable Mention - R&B is a solid team should probably go B and follow the path of Triple Threat. Kryptonights - I don`t know anything about this team besides they only lost to M&G this season.
Overall Synopsis – Depending on what M&G brings, everybody should be back home Saturday night.

We sleep on the 540 in general. Y`all haven`t proved anything but win with a combined team at the bark bowl. Only team really done anything is M&g with 2 b titles and A final four appearance. Oh and triple threats b title if it ain`t b y`all ain`t winning homie stay home |

WeWe from yesterday is not weak. Dug a hole with firm and just about climbed out of it. But we also know that was not wewe. That was wewe and triple threat. Bottom line come next week. If they couldnt do it yesterday by stacking, they have no shot by not stacking. |

Could atleast post what team you play for. We did have 4 TT players play with us yesterday so I guess that was a combination of the teams. Also had a few of our guys not be able to come. All in all good couple games shoulda did more, shoulda played better but that`s how it goes. Hope everyone has safe travels during this icy day and this upcoming weekend. |
