The day ended much better than it started. Everyone figured Guns and PT would reach Sunday. AmFam benefited from a not very difficult bracket to advance despite the Wolves being the better team IMO. However, with DMob, RC, WW, and Soldier all going out in their 1st games, that was definitely a shot in the foot.

They came out with a bang, knocking off four 804 teams early. I feel Wolves should be playing today but that`s how it goes. 7pt Spread just didn`t have quite enough for Firm but definitely is on the verge of a Final Four.
Two teams in the B Final Four has added to a very strong performance by the 703.

Disappointing for the 2nd straight season. Crazy snuck by 1st round but of course ran into the champs. Da Unit fought back from early deficit and lost a heartbreaker to PT, and Classics didn`t live up to their hype as the defending B champ. As usual, Firm has to carry the 757 load with no help.
540
3 words, Bring Back M&G , or the 540 is in trouble. Whitewave (Crew) gave quite the effort but way too many turnovers against a a low level A team. Dynasty is simplly not ready for A, maybe B for that matter. They look like a ticking time bomb. R&B squeaked by a Final Four B team but when faced a legit A team, got absolutely whacked.
Triple Threat is in the B Final Four and can give the 540 a little face this year.

757 - Aside from the Firm, all the teams they sent are dissapointing.
804 - Gunz are the gunz. AmFam is ok but if they aren`t in the bracket there were in they probably dont make it to sunday. Primetime is gritty, a team full of playmakers that know flag football. The rest of the teams (solider, dmob, westwood) are done.
540 - The teams gotta find that chemistry M&G had or it`ll be a lot of early exits for these guys.
703 - Wolves and 7pt are legit. If 7pt plays anybody else but Firm, I think they are playign on Sunday. Wovles lost but if you watched that game, they gave up 2 scores for no knowing the 1 hop rule and stopped playing. Then on 4th down at the end they defended the pass into defenders hand.

R&B it wasn`t an insult, just an observation. And yes, you either win or you lose, but some games are close aka squeakers, as yours was. Your argument is comical, especially the first year comment. Some of you had played on other teams but you`ve also played on same team together. |

We beat prime time the only time we played them which was 7 years ago. My guess is they have all new players and we are not even a team anymore As far as nationials go we beat triple crown so I wouldn`t say it was excAtly easy. But yes states is what matters. I never saw firm on here pumpin up there chest saying nationials is what matters. So give firm there credit and give guns there credit. Both are champions |

I understand wanting to comment on us having a weaker bracket...but I hope our performance today helped convince some folks maybe we can play a little bit. We played the defending national champs tough and then entered into a shootout with the gunz that had us on the short end. Congrats to those gunz and thank you everyone who participated this weekend - excellent weekend of football. |
