3:58 PM | Tomorrow, you`ll be able get scores from games texted to your phone, along with updated schedules as teams advance. Just send a text message to: game@vffa.com (yes, its an email not a phone number - but text to it anyhow). For the message, enter: #scores
After a minute you will get a reply with the schedule and any results reported to date. There will be a few more options on there by tomorrow. To see them all text #menu to the same email. |

Previously, you had to send the message #score to get the reply. I guess some either did not send a message, or did not use all lower case.
I changed it so that whatever is sent is converted to lowercase and if no message is sent you get the #menu message by default.
It also take about a minute+ to get the reply.
If its not working for you - let me know which carrier you use. I know for sure it works with Sprint. |

the refs are for the local richmond teams. You know its a shame you travel that far, spend money for motels then get ripped off by the pitiful phone talking refs, it was ovious who they was for in games that involved local teams. |

Couldnt have said it any better. Reffs were trash! Talking on phones in middle of games, paying attention to other games while working, anticipating flag pulling and everything... shame on yall

how do you know where the refs are from unless you play in more than one league? i know if a ref aint from 804 but that doesn`t tell me where he is from. that is just an easy excuse for teams that lose...blame the refs. |
