Banditos Vs Toughspects- Two veteran teams face off here, and it comes down to which ts team shows up. Banditos is a consistent team that lacks firepower but can take advantage of a team`s sleepiness. If TS argues and infights it will be a wrap.....but not yet. TS wins big
VDP vs Truth- VDP is a dark horse to win it all, and I know that you are now thinking that I am a CVFA homer, but I dont see any way that the Truth can hang with the precision offense of VDP. Nate #77 and his pressure is the only chance the truth has, and he has to be be a terror and get 6 sacks or it is a wrap. VDP wins by 17
Ground zero vs ruckus- Ruckus wins, `nuff said
Rocktown vs Knightz- This game can go either way. Both teams are explosive and experienced. Wally needs to play a solid game and Marcus must step up, but I dont think it will be enough, Rocktown`s elite 8 trip last year shows they have what it takes to get out of day one. Rocktown wins by 2
Dream Team vs Da Real Deal- The biggest question here is who is going to QB drd. I dont even think they know as of press time. Loaded with talent, DRD is one missed flag pull from a score on every play. Dream team needs to assure they dont miss any. But good luck with that. DRD wins big
Bodysnatchers vs CMB- Bodysnatchers are creating a lot of buzz, and is made up of seasoned veterans. CMB got blown out in the CVFA superbowl, and it seems that their confidence is rattled. BS wins

SECOND ROUND
PLP vs Toughspects- these two teams know eachother real well, and are very similar. PLP has the nod on experience, TS has the athletes. TS wins a VERY close game that comes down to a dropped pass or a missed flag
VDP vs Ruckus- VDP cruises to saturday night
Rocktown vs drd- the speed of DRD will be way too much for rocktown. DRD advances easily
body vs team hood- team hood wins in dominating fashion
540 vs playmakers- this is a hard one to call; but I have to . 540 wins
Stone Cold vs Brute Squad- even without their JRE teammates Brute wins easily
PArty rock vs triple threat- the university of richmond football team....err....party rock, wins easily
takeover vs helltown- who the hell is helltown? takeover wins.
THIRD ROUND
Toughspects vs VDP- wow, in the epic battle of the day, it will come down to the ability of TS to get pressure on the QB of VDP...I dont see it happening. VDP wins by 6
DRD vs Team hood- here is where the lack of experience gets DRD in to hot water. Hood moves on to sunday
Brute Squad vs 540- put together teams rarely make it to sunday; brute has championships....big game experience.....game brute squad
party rock vs takeover- these teams played earlier this season with party rock winning comfortably. Same outcome.
FOURTH ROUND
VDP vs Team Hood- VDP is sandbagging, but it is their first time at states, so it can be overlooked. VDP wins by 6
Party Rock vs Brute- Brute was the only team to beat Party rock this past season; but despite this outcome, the lack of their JRE guys will be a problem. Party Rock wins by 3
Championship
VDP vs Party Rock
these two teams are mirror images of eachother; big physical lines, accurate qbs; playmaking guys on the outside. VDP has much more experience, but Party Rock has the "it" that people often talk about; that RG3 magic, the thing that keeps them in games they shouldnt win. VDP are the Buffalo Bills of the CVFA, and that trend continues. Party Rock wins on a late field goal. |
