Depending on your league size, 2-4 teams typically from each season. And assuming your league paid the sanction fee to the state. |

if you finished top 8 in B last year, you have to move A. But if you think your team has talent, why wouldnt you want to join A |

We want to play the best in our divisions at States. So, join a league and earn your way in. The quality of teams will be a joke if anyone could just pay their way in!!!!!! |

you would think that we would want as many teams as we can get into the b league because if people see that its real compition out there they will try to come back better the next year |

There really is no "quality of teams" in the B division. Not to say teams are weak, but essential everybody in B are the teams that don`t want to sign up for A. |

alot of teams play in B bc its there first time playing states, but if they are A caliber they step up to higher division. But i can tell you alot of solid sqauds in B |

yes, anybody can join the b league tournament. Honestly I think most b league teams can give alot of a league teams a run for their money. but having more an A and B league brings more teams. I think if you place top two in any division you should go to A. except bigger leagues like fairfax and beach are that have like an A,B, and C division. Anybody can beat beat on any given day. But its the squads that repeatedly find ways to win that make the elite

Teams, if permitted by their League Commissioners, may play in either Tournament (A or B) with a few VFFA exceptions. Last year`s A Champ gets a return birth, but it is to the A Tourney. And last years B Champ gets a return birth as well, but it is to the A Tourney. Finally, the final 8 from last year`s B must move up to A (should they so qualify for the States in their league this year). They may then drop back to B the following year, unless they again make the final 8.
Also, there were 29 Teams in A last year and the team that won played 4 games over the weekend. But, in the B Tourney there were 40 teams and the team that won had to play 6 games! - RCJ |

are you sure i thought anybody could join b and then you have to have a bid to join A. It just makes sense to let anybody join b then they can get a taste of how flag really is and you are gaining more of a following for our league |

yeah, but the state tournament is the best of the best for each division. Not a place where you try to learn the game. You join a league for that purpose. If you are good enough, you get a bid. That bid is your ticket! |

there are some casual teams. That might like playing in B states just to play against a different squad for once. As most people can attest to. It can game lame playing the same 7 or 8 teams every season.
I dont see an issue with some teams wanting to play, just to play at the B level. Obviously the teams tryin to win B don`t think they`re good enough to have a chance in A. |

I feel if you want to play B anybody should be allowed to join and then you have to earn a bid to be in the A league. hell were only helping ourselves by allowing more people to play |

I have played in the A and B for many years since the 90`s and still playing now.Team`s were better back then in the A then now.I hear people talk about B isn`t nothing well truth be told it`s only maybe a good 6 Teams in the A.The rest of the A are just teams getting beat every year to those same old 6 teams.lol.It seem`s like the B league is getting harder cause you don`t know who`s coming out that bracket and you have to play more games.But!!!! I love the A I love playing those same old 6 talking ****t teams it`s nothing like it.But really stop putting down B league cause half of the people doing the talking isn`t even playing on those top 6teams in the A.Y`all just B teams also that are playing in the A to make y`all feel big time.lol.lol. GO BACK DOWN!! Good luck to all!!
