08:39 AM | Seems as if some things have changed but then again some things never change. This will serve as a how to guide for some new teams and some good reading for you "usuals".
1. Water cooler talk out of WWFFA and the Tidewater is that states will be at Dorey Park, Henrico and not Chesapeake? Bob/Tom feel free to confirm. No matter the venue, be sure to drink plenty(beer or water) the night before the tournament and try to get out and support one another because believe it or not this is a fraternity.
2. 3 teams you do not want to play in game 1.
WWFFA- Gunz, Am Fam, Soldiers
NOVA- Triple Crown, 7pt Spread, Pens
Tidewater- Firm, Da Unit, Crazy Horse
CVFA- Primetime, Westwood, River City
With that being said it all comes down to the draw.
3. Don`t forget top 8 B teams have to play up this year. Of last years top 8 B I like these
3 teams chances: Classics, Poor Boys, Heisman
4. As I said some things never change, since 2004 2 teams in the final 4 have been from WWFFA. Statistically I like the Gunz & Soldier because as we have seen, history tends to repeat itself.

States will be in Henrico County (Dorey Park) again this year (Tidewater arrangements fell through). Hotels/Motels will be the same as last time we were here. Same prices as well. Will be getting more details up on the Board soon. - RCJ |
