703 has more players and more teams so the talent is spread out. 757 has fewer teams and smaller leagues so the concentration of talent is stronger. Really can`t say one is better than the other . I think we have better football players as a state no matter what the region. |

703 won the A c`ship 6 years in a row, 1997-2002. There were as many A teams in it back then as nowadays and most from 804 and 757. |

Its all on this site and not hard to find. These are the 6 years in a row 703 won the A championship.
1997 3/4 teams in final 4 from 703
1998 2 in championship from 703, 2 804 teams went down in semis (incl Dmob)
1999 703 team takes out Gunz in semi and Dmob in championship
2000 2/4 teams in final 4 from 703, Dmob loses in semi to 703, Power loses in championship to 703
2001 2 in championship from 703, Gunz taken out by 703 in semis
2002 2/4 teams in final 4 from 703, Gunz lose in semis
The tide has turned since then but to say 703 never accomplished anything in the A tournament is ridiculous. In fact some of the teams they were beating regularly then are the same ones considered in the top 4 now. Times change, teams fade, and younger teams mature. There could be a new cycle right around the corner. |

Then go ahead and throw out Power`s championship in 2003, because it was only a year later. While you`re at it go ahead and throw out Gunz in 2004 and Dmob in 2005 if history started only when you were out of high school. I`m sure those trophies are just as dusty right? |

Who wrote the HS state champions are always from down south? Have you looked at the HS statechampions history for football? 703 dominates that.
You got 2 or 3 schools that make a run once in a while, we`ve got all the power houses. Much more talent up here team wise. Only divisions that matters is div 5 and 6.
757 and 804 are top heavy divisions obviously with the Gunz and Firm being up there every year. But 703 is deeper as a whole. |
