3:34 PM | What happened to this league? Where is the effort from the commissioners? I remember a few years ago this website would be updated hours after the tournament was done. Now we still have a blurry picture of Primetime from last year, no pictures since 2013, and no announcement that FIRM is the new state champ. For all the money people pay to play in this league, you would expect better. It`s really disappointing. |

I follow VFFA for 15 yrs. never seen nothing like that. The referee call the game no more time on the clock. The receiver never caught the ball it hit the ground first game was over then. The commissioner or commissioners need to do the right thing to keep the league POSITIVE so the other teams will not be discouraged |

The receiver caught the ball and his flags where across the goal line but the ref said he wasn`t although they had video evidence. There was a lot of bad calls in the game also, overall it was a good game from two good teams. The best team won, if you disagree then come out next year and put forth a better effort. |

but they aint. dont let a team drive the whole field in 39 seconds and there wont be no issues at the end. Dont go blaming the refs who were bad all game for both teams just cause they lost... |

The ball or flags definitely never crossed the goal line.Time ran out but refs said prime time touched the ball allowing time to run out before firm could spike the ball so they gave them one more play to kick field goal for the win |

One play should not decide the outcome of a game, had Primetime capitalized on the Firm not getting the 2 pt conversion then this conversation would not be happening. Primetime allowed the Firm to march down the field and get into scoring position which ultimately doomed Primetime. |

One National championshigs doesnt mean you are better than the Firm or Primetime. Firm has 3 national championships and 2 state "A" championships and Primetime has two state "A" championships. No hate, just facts. Resume doesn`t stack up TT |

The time ran out, the ball hit the ground, even if he had caught the ball neither the ball or the flags cross the line the whistle was blown end of game, if the whistle hadn`t blown they did not have time to get to the line and get set for another play or to spike the ball neither team did not have any time outs END OF GAME |

The league is in a downward trend due to the lack of effort by the commissioners. If u don`t think so just look at the total number of teams that have registered over the past few years, it keeps declining. Just look at the nonexistent coverage of this tourney which should be the highlight of the year. The national tournament is now a joke and the league needs some fresh perspective at the top. |

@ 15yrs: You are wrong! If it was a incomplete pass the clock would have stopped because it was under 2min. left in the game. Old poorboy called it right, bottom line Prime time should have won the game no time left. Refs made a terrible call. |

Real talk, they didn`t though...again refs made bad calls all game. If primetime takes care of business and gets the first down to win the game or doesn`t let firm drive the whole field in 40 seconds then its a non-factor. What`s that saying, "one play doesn`t win or lose a game". Finish the game and you aint gotta worry about blaming the refs or anyone else. We could play the "what if" game all day for both teams but fact is firm won and that`s that. |
